PVC strip on the handle side of the door, including co-extruded (bulb) weather stripping  to seal the handle gap.

The jointed pine frame (casing) is available in: 1 1/4'', 1 1/2'', 1 5/8'' x 7 1/4'' 

     

Screwed frame (casing)
All our door frames are assembled with screws, giving them far greater rigidity than stapled frames. Each corner has four anchoring points: three 2 1/2'' screws and one 3 1/2'' screw.

Neoprene corner seal pad (top)
The corner seal pad is a reinforcement that maintains constant contact between the weather stripping and the slab, ensuring increased waterproofing in the upper corners of the door frame.

Multi-fine corner (bottom)
This multi-fine corner seal pad has been specifically developed for our doors. It is installed on each side directly above the thermal barrier, which is an integral part of the threshold. Its function is to limit the capillarity phenomenon responsible for water infiltration and mold.

Concept enhancement

Our “Concept” enhancement offers machining on the frame (casing) as well as on the side of the door. What's more, the reinforcement plate inserted into the frame provides added security.

The PVC strip on the handle side of the door is machined to accommodate the two faceplates that allow two bolts to pass through.

The frame (jamb) on the handle side is machined to accommodate the two strike plates that allow the passage of the two bolts.

The reinforcing plate on the handle side of the door frame secures the deadbolt. The metal plate is 4" x 8 11/16" x 1/16" thick.
