  • As part of our recruitment process, when you apply for a position with us, we obtain information about your identity (such as your last name, first name, date of birth), your contact information (address, email address, telephone number) and your work experience (any information contained in a résumé submitted to us, information about your education, work experience, previous employers, references, professional or social involvement, etc.);

  • As part of our human resources management, we also collect any other required information from our employees (banking details, social insurance number, insurance information, etc.);

  • When you consent, we obtain information about your use of our website and information collected from your browsing history or by means of cookies;

  • We may also obtain information about your use of our social network accounts and your interaction with our online advertising, if any;

  • In the course of providing our services, we may also obtain information relating to your organization, including information relating to directors, officers or employees of our customers or other business partners.

6. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Your personal information is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes set out in this policy and to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

7. WHERE IS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION STORED?

Your personal information in paper format is kept at our offices. It is subject to security measures as detailed below.

Your personal information in electronic format is stored on servers in Canada, but we may use suppliers or partners located outside the country.

If we need to share personal information with these suppliers and partners, we ensure that the protection and confidentiality of this information meets our requirements, and we will ask these suppliers and partners to contractually agree to comply with and respect them.

8. HOW IS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION PROTECTED?

  • Request for de-indexation or cessation of dissemination: When the conditions set out in the Act are met, you may ask us to cease the dissemination of any of your personal information or to de-index any hyperlink attached to your name allowing access to any of your personal information by a technological means.
  • Withdrawal of consent: You may withdraw your consent to the disclosure or use of your personal information at any time. In such a case, however, we may not be able to fulfill the purpose for which the information was provided.
  • Complaints: In the event of alleged non-compliance with the principles set out in the Act, you may file a complaint with our Privacy Officer. Our organization will then investigate, and if the complaint is found to be justified, it will take appropriate measures, including amending its policies and practices if necessary. It is also possible to file a complaint with the governing authority for the protection of personal information, i.e., in Quebec, the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec and, at the federal level, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
